أخرج الحاكم وصحّحه عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم “يُوشك الناس أن يَضربوا أكباد الابل فلا يجدوا عالما أعلم من عالم المدينة” (2/139 من الخصائص الكبرى للسيوطي). قال سفيان: نرى هذا العالم مالك بن أنس.
