This supplication was adopted by the scholars, and no one invalidated it, only some sprouting of this generation whom there’s no validity in their saying. Only validity is cleared in the honored Hadith..
The prayer of relieving one’s need, many searches for it when they pray to God to relieve their need, and the scholars agreed on the prayer of the need prayer as it came from the Prophet, peace be upon him, emphasizing that the prayer of need is desirable, as the Prophet ordered some of the companions who asked him about their need, so Dar Al-Iftaa mentioned on the authority of the prayer of need, that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said what means: “Whoever desires a need from Allah, or one of the children of Adam, let him perform ablution well, then pray two Rak^at of prayer, then make supplications to Allah, and make salt upon the Prophet, peace be upon him”.
And about the supplication of “Salat al-Hajah”, Dar Al-Iftaa said on its official page on “Facebook”, that when a Muslim wants to say the supplication of “Salat al-Hajah”, he must perform ablution and make two Rak^at of prayer and then say: “Oh Allah, I ask you and I turn to you through your Prophet, our master Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy, oh Muhammad, I turn with you to my Lord – and he asks for his need – and he says, “Oh God, Grant him intercession for me, and intercede me for me.”
The best supplication is the obligatory prayer

“لا إله إلا الله، الحليم الكريم، سبحان الله رب العرش العظيم، الحمد لله رب العالمين، أسألك موجبات رحمتك، وعزائم مغفرتك والغنيمة من كل بر والسلامة من كل إثم، اللهم لا تدع لي ذنبًا إلا غفرته، ولا همًّا إلا فرّجته ولا حاجةً هي لك رضا إلا قضيتها يا أرحم الراحمين».
What did the Prophet say about the prayer of the need prayer?
And the house cited in the prayer of relieving one’s need, what was reported from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that a blind man came to him and said to him: “Oh, Messenger of God, pray to God that my sight be restored to me.” The Prophet said to him, “Be patient.” The blind man replied: “I have no one to lead me.” He said to him. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, performed ablution and prayed two rak’ahs, then said: “Oh God, I ask you and I turn to you through your Prophet Muhammad, the prophet of mercy, O Muhammad, I turn to you to your Lord so that my need is satisfied, then mention your need.”
And the Dar Al-Iftaa continued: “How quickly the blind has returned, and God has restored his sight to him.” This supplication was adopted by the and scholars, and only some of the sprouting who came in this era did invalidate it and their words are not considered, rather the lesson is in this honorable hadith and what the nation adopted, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and stressed on the must of performing the prayer of need if the servant has a need with God Almighty or with people in general, pointing out that the need is wanting or a request to spend a specific thing.
