The book “Shadows from the Walls of Death” is considered to be the most dangerous book in the world at all. It was written in 1863, and its danger lies in the fact that it directly causes death to anyone who reads it or tries to read it.
It is called in English “Shadows from the walls of death” is a philosophical book written by the American writer Robert C. Kidzy. And if you hear that it causes death, you will find it illogical, or you may make fun of the title and consider it exaggerated, and your mind may turn to books of magic and sorcery or something from quackery, but this book does not make everyone who tries to read it die as in many other books of magic, but rather It is completely different, far from all these beliefs. The book is very ordinary, but the strange thing about it is that once you open the book and try to read it, your end will undoubtedly be near, it does not require that you get sick or feel many symptoms, but you will inevitably die.
Causes of Death
According to what was announced on the websites, the reason why the book kills everyone who reads it is that the author of the book put a lethal percentage of the type of poison known as arsenic on the cover of this book and all its pages that reach 86 pages. Anyone who touches or smells arsenic will die immediately.
After this secret was discovered, which baffled researchers, it was agreed that it is now possible to read the book after putting on gloves and a protective face mask to avoid the risk of death. It is worth noting that there are only two copies of this book in the world, one of which is located in the United States of America and exactly in the state of Michigan at the University of Michigan.
It’s Whereabouts
The book is located in the United States of America among the books of the University of Michigan and it is forbidden to approach or touch it unless after following safety steps to protect the reader from death. This is the most terrifying book or the killer book behind which there is a story similar to a Hollywood movie. Kids had issued 100 copies of the book, but only two copies remain, and at the University of Michigan it is kept in a special section away from readers and can only be borrowed with permission, and each page of the book has been wrapped very carefully so as not to leak arsenic.
Who is the author of the book? Robert.
He is a professor of chemistry, born in 1823 and died in 1902. He holds two degrees in chemistry and medicine and served as a doctor for 11 years. He also worked as a surgeon during the American Civil War, and when he reached the age of forty he worked as a professor of chemistry at the Michigan College of Agriculture. He has several achievements as he was called the “Father of the beet sugar industry” in the state of Michigan.
What is strange and different from the rest of the other books is that after the title page and the introduction that Kidzyi wrote, there are no other words, as all of its 86 pages are just wallpaper, which Kidzy collected from the wallpaper spread in America at that time. But the danger in the matter is that all these pages are coated with deadly arsenic, which is a highly toxic substance, and this poison was considered the best for killing, so it was called “celebrity poison,” as the most famous person who was poisoned with it was Napoleon Bonaparte.
Why did Robert do what he did in his book?
Kidzy was concerned with the environment and the impact of toxic pollutants on human health, and among his studies was a study confirming the danger of decorating the walls of homes with colored wallpaper, which was widespread in the United States in 1739. Kidzy has proven that wallpaper contains dangerous levels of arsenic, which dyes paper with. The wall, as arsenic is transmitted through particles into the air and then inhaled by humans, causing bronchitis, headache, weight loss, and eventually death.
But no one paid attention to Kidzy’s cries, so he thought of this deadly method. He collected samples of wallpaper containing high levels of arsenic, put them in 100 books, and distributed them to bookstores in the United States.
