The facts confirm Saudi involvement in prolonging the war on Gaza, which has lasted nearly eight months, during which blood has flowed and casualties have increased alarmingly.
Looking at the images coming from Gaza, one feels that we are living in unprecedented times. The brutal war on Gaza’s residents has not ceased, and every day we mourn what is happening. Every day, we hope that tomorrow will bring something to stop the war.
But the opposite happens; the occupier escalates daily in its madness and brutality. We find ourselves asking, what next after all this? The occupier has literally destroyed Gaza’s infrastructure and hospitals, which are now out of service. Today, in Gaza, the injured are transported from place to place on animals, and medical procedures are carried out without anesthesia and with basic tools. O Allah, forgive our helplessness.
The opposition newspaper “Voice of the People” questioned the role of Saudi Arabia, led by Salman and his son, in this war. Is the government involved in prolonging this war and encouraging the Zionists to continue this brutality?
The newspaper affirmed yes, stating that despite the statements released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision-maker’s stance is in favor of continuing the war until achieving the alleged Zionist goals, notably the elimination of Hamas.
“This is not a secret,” the newspaper continued. “Mohammed bin Salman is in agreement with the occupier, especially Netanyahu, in his objectives. The Saudi government has not taken a position against the war, and until now, it continues to issue statements.”
Simultaneously, Saudi authorities arrest anyone who speaks about the necessity of having a genuine stance beyond issuing statements about the crimes committed daily by the occupier.
Mohammed bin Salman, in an interview with the Wall Street Journal through his ministers in Riyadh, stated that Saudi Arabia would not be a partner in rebuilding Gaza if Hamas remains in power.
It is not surprising that this is his stance, but what is more distressing is that the Saudi government is losing its political weight and value in the eyes of the Islamic world day by day due to the cunning and policies of Mohammed bin Salman. Even during the worst times of war, Mohammed bin Salman hosts festivals as if everything in Gaza is normal.
A compassionate human responds to humanitarian disasters by showing solidarity, as happens every day in European, Latin American capitals, and some Asian Muslim countries.
Only in Saudi Arabia and a number of Arab countries like Egypt and Jordan is public solidarity banned, because the government’s stance aligns with the occupier.
Until recently, Saudi Arabia was considered a central axis in the Palestinian issue, adopting positions that showed it protected this cause and facilitated minimal aid without preventing the people from showing their psychological and material solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
But this changed with the arrival of Mohammed bin Salman. We witnessed with our own eyes Zionists freely roaming in Al-Luz mountains, Khaybar, Al-Hanakia, and even inside the Prophet’s Mosque.
This is not a secret; the Zionists recite their prayers at these times in Al-Luz mountains and broadcast them live on social media networks. Meanwhile, if a worshipper prays for Palestine or supplicates for them after prayers, the authorities would arrest them.
Mohammed bin Salman’s Zionism is no different from Sisi’s Zionism. They are forms of policies ready to compromise their sovereignty, reputation, and moral treasure to please the Zionists. This is due to the illusion that the Zionists are a global power, reflecting the misery of dictatorial thinking; they are afraid of their people and seek protection.
Today, Zionists are in a global transformation, where their image is changing before the entire world. For the first time, the occupier is being condemned, and the leader of this criminal entity is described as wanted for justice.
However, authoritarian regimes in the region are truly involved in intertwined files with the Zionists, and there is also similarity in the agendas of these countries.
The newspaper concluded that “the Arab people, from the East to the West, are with the people of Palestine in their cause. We know that the tyrants are just passing opponents and a political disease that will disappear, and justice and truth are with the people of Palestine. Our mission here is to affirm our solidarity with our people in Palestine through all available means and languages. We will never cease to support and stand by our people in Palestine by any means necessary. Palestine is the human conscience and the moral compass that distinguishes humanity from inhumanity.”
