The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that its Resistance fighters killed 10 Israeli soldiers on Thursday in a top-tier operation east of al-Nazzaz Street in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.
According to a statement, the al-Qassam fighters targeted a building where an Israeli force was fortified with a TBG rocket, then advanced toward the building and killed the remaining soldiers from point-blank range.
In addition, the Brigades’ fighters detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) inside the building while withdrawing from the location.
Later, Israeli helicopters were dispatched to the scene to evacuate the casualties and injuries.
On Friday, the al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that its fighters engaged an Israeli Merkava 4 tank with an al-Yassin 105 rocket in Baghdad Street in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood and sniped at an Israeli soldier around Tal Z’orob, west of Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip.
On its part, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, said its Resistance fighters attacked a position of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the Netzarim axis, south of Gaza City, with mortar shells.
Moreover, the Brigades targeted Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, with a heavy and standard mortar barrage.
In addition, the group mentioned that it targeted Israeli soldiers stationed at the Rafah crossing gate with a barrage of mortar shells.
In the same context, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said its fighters engaged Israeli forces and their military vehicles stationed on the Palestinian-Egyptian border north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip with a barrage of mortar shells.
