Palestinian Resistance factions conducted a series of operations targeting Israeli occupation forces across the Gaza Strip on the 309th day of the war on Gaza.
Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades launched a salvo of 107 mm rocket artillery shells at positions of invading Israeli occupation forces to the east of Khan Younis at 6:02 pm (local time) on Saturday. Al-Qassam said the rockets resulted in a fire breaking out in the targeted area.
In the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip, Rafah, the al-Qassam fighters fired a locally-produced tandem rocket-propelled grenade (RPG), al-Yassin, at an Israeli military-grade D9 bulldozer.
Its forces also fiercely engaged occupation forces in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in western Rafah.
On Saturday, Israeli occupation forces garrisoned themselves in the Indonesian Hospital in the same neighborhood, where al-Qassam Resistance fighters fired an anti-personnel RPG and a thermobaric RPG at the Israeli force. Israeli military rescue helicopters landed in the area to evacuate the killed and wounded soldiers.
Al-Qassam fighters also sniped at an Israeli soldier in the village of al-Soweida to the southwest of Tal al-Sultan.
Other Palestinian Resistance factions participated in attacks on Israeli occupation forces, including the al-Mujahideen Brigades and the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
The al-Mujahideen Brigades fired two Haseb-111 rockets at the strategic Netzarim Axis, targeting Israeli forces occupying an area splitting the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged territory.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades shelled the Israeli occupation armored and infantry forces in the Yibna refugee camp in Rafah with 60mm mortar rounds.
Al-Qassam Brigades’ Military Media Unit also released footage of an operation targeting 9 Israeli occupation soldiers in Tal al-Sultan, Rafah, on Friday.
The attack resulted in several casualties among the force, confirmed by the arrival of an Israeli rescue helicopter to transport the killed and wounded soldiers.
