The Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip launched coordinated attacks against Israeli occupation forces across multiple fronts within the territory.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), reported that their fighters, after returning from positions in eastern Deir al-Balah, executed an operation that led to Israeli military rescue helicopters being deployed to evacuate casualties.
The operation involved the detonation of explosive devices inside a building in eastern Deir al-Balah, targeting Israeli forces who had entered the ambush site. According to the brigades, this resulted in either fatalities or injuries among the soldiers.
Additionally, Palestinian Resistance factions carried out a series of shelling attacks on Thursday, hitting Israeli occupation forces at several key points, including the Netzarim Axis—a critical route that divides the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged area.
In Khan Younis, al-Quds Brigades mortar units bombarded clusters of Israeli troops and vehicles moving toward the city’s center. Meanwhile, Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades targeted Israeli forces stationed at the Mars military site with 107 mm rocket artillery.
The al-Mujahideen Brigades also engaged Israeli forces on the Netzarim Axis using locally-manufactured Haseb 111 mm shells.
In Rafah, fighters from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) attacked Israeli forces in the Yibna refugee camp with large-caliber mortar rounds.
A collaborative operation was conducted by the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, who jointly shelled Israeli forces with mortar rounds in eastern Deir al-Balah.
As the conflict in Gaza reaches its 328th day, Palestinian Resistance factions continue their resistance against Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, while their counterparts in the occupied West Bank defend against intense Israeli assaults on various governorates.
