The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah launched a series of operations on Sunday as part of its ongoing support to the Palestinian people in Gaza and in response to the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
Starting with the latest operation, Hezbollah announced late Sunday shelling a position of the 8200 Intelligence Battalion of the Galilee Division at the Matat barracks with rocket-propelled weapons, confirming that direct hits were achieved.
The Resistance said that the operation came in response to the Israeli enemy’s attacks on “the resilient southern villages and safe homes, particularly in the towns of Beit Leif and Beit Yahoun.”
At 2:47 PM, Hezbollah announced its fighters targeted surveillance equipment at the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site using appropriate weapons, resulting in its complete destruction.
In response to the Israeli attacks on southern villages, particularly the morning aggression on the town of Rmeish, the group said it targeted an Israeli army patrol near the Kfar Yuval checkpoint, achieving confirmed hits.
Later, at 4:40 PM, the Resistance struck a gathering of Israeli soldiers around the al-Marj site with rocket-propelled weapons
Shortly after at 4:45 PM, Hezbollah launched an aerial attack using a one-way drone on surveillance equipment at the Hadab Yaroun site, leading to its destruction.
The group’s operations continued with an artillery strike on the Jal al-Alam base at 5:30 PM, causing direct hits.
Hezbollah also targeted the Ramya Israeli military site with artillery at 5:35 pm, achieving a direct impact.
At 5:15 PM, the Resistance struck the al-Samaqa military site in the occupied hills of Kafr Shuba with rockets, delivering additional confirmed hits.
In response to the Israeli attacks on the southern villages and homes, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Menara settlement with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit.
Additionally, they struck buildings used by Israeli soldiers in the Shtula settlement with rocket-propelled weapons, also achieving direct hits.
The former head of the Israeli military Operations Division, Major General (Res.) Israel Ziv warned on Wednesday that Hezbollah is undeterred and its most significant achievement has been the near year-long paralysis of “Israel”.
In an interview with the Israeli Channel 12, Ziv said, “We are approaching a full year of war with Hamas, yet we remain unable to decisively win the battle, even though Hamas is a weaker adversary compared to Hezbollah.”
He further noted that while “Israel” has achieved some tactical successes, these have yet to translate into strategic ones.
