The Israeli Channel 12 broadcasted the testimony of Adina Moshe, an Israeli prisoner who was released in the first prisoner exchange deal between the resistance and the occupation. She stated that Netanyahu is lying, and neither he nor the army knows anything about Hamas’ tunnels in Gaza.
She added: “When I was released, a Shin Bet investigator asked me to explain what Hamas tunnels look like.”
She continued: “It became clear to me that Israeli security forces know absolutely nothing about the tunnels.”
She also mentioned, “Later, they sent me an engineer from the Shin Bet, and she asked me to draw everything, including the shape of the communication devices and wires.”
She explained that she “understood that Netanyahu is lying and knows nothing about these tunnels or the process of being captured by Hamas.”
On Thursday, Israeli Public Broadcasting reported that military sources confirmed the occupation army would change its combat strategy in the tunnels to avoid harming Israeli captives.
The report added that due to “the killing of six hostages, the army will change its underground combat tactics in Gaza, fearing that maneuvers within the tunnels could result in the killing of captives.”
The source said that “the practical assumption that the Israeli army will operate under is that where the army has not yet maneuvered, there are captives present.”
It further clarified that “according to sources, the fighting is becoming increasingly difficult and complex because the message received by the terrorist organization (Hamas) in killing the captives is that if the Israeli army continues to maneuver underground, the captives will be killed before the army can reach them.”
The report also indicated that “the initial investigation conducted by the Israeli army into the killing of the six hostages revealed that the Hamas observers standing outside the tunnel spotted the Israeli soldiers moving towards them, which seemingly prompted them to kill the captives and flee the scene.”
The report alleged that “the army found signs on the ground after discovering the bodies of the captives, indicating that Hamas observers were watching the Israeli soldiers in real time. Among other things, the Israeli army is keen to avoid entering areas with real-time intelligence about living captives, and this information is passed directly to forces on the ground.”
