The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah carried out on Thursday a series of operations targeting Israeli military bases and positions, resulting in the deaths and injuries of Israeli officers and soldiers stationed on the front lines in northern occupied Palestine.
Israeli media admitted to two soldiers killed and 16 others wounded in Hezbollah’s attacks as of yet.
The Resistance reaffirmed that its attacks are part of its ongoing support for the Palestinians in Gaza and their Resistance, as well as a direct response to Israeli aggression against civilians in Lebanon and the country’s towns and villages.
At 7:45 am, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli forces position at the al-Marj site with “appropriate weapons”, resulting in confirmed casualties in the targeted military unit. Later, Israeli media admitted that one soldier was killed in the strike.
The second and third operations came in response to the Israeli “attacks on the resilient southern villages and safe homes, particularly in the town of Kfar Kila,” the Resistance said in a statement. According to Israeli media, three Israelis were wounded in the attacks, one critically.
Toward noon, Hezbollah fighters launched an aerial attack with a squadron of one-way drones on the newly established headquarters of the Western Brigade command in Ya’ara, dealing precise hits to the targets. Meanwhile, Israeli media said the attack led to the killing of one soldier.
Shortly after, the Resistance group targeted using several one-way drones the positions of Israeli soldiers and officers stationed at the artillery positions in Beit Hillel military base. The strike was accurate and successful, Hezbollah confirmed.
At 1:25 pm, the Islamic Resistance group announced that its fighters targeted the al-Ramya site with artillery shells.
Hezbollah launched two consecutive operations targeting the Zar’it barracks starting at 1:30 pm, shelling it first with artillery rounds before striking it with a rocket barrage. The barracks were accurately hit in both attacks.
In a separate statement, the Resistance group said it shelled at 2:40 pm the Israeli Hanita military base, confirming direct hits.
Commenting on the operations, Israeli media noted that Hezbollah continues to launch rockets and drones toward the north “despite the explosion of communications devices and the injuries among its ranks” caused by Israeli terrorist attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
These attacks involved the simultaneous detonation of thousands of pagers and two-way radios carried by citizens going about their daily lives. This unprecedented crime has so far claimed the lives of at least 32 people and left over 3,200 injured.
