The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released footage on Saturday, September 21, 2024, showing their fighters seizing an Israeli military vehicle rigged with explosives and several drones in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip. Alongside this, they shared a mysterious image hinting at an incident involving Israeli soldiers, with the caption: “What’s Hidden is Greater.”
In the video, one of the Al-Qassam fighters is seen standing in front of a booby-trapped Israeli military vehicle, abandoned by the Israeli forces in the eastern areas of Rafah, southern Gaza.
The fighter stated that the Israeli occupation “fights us with weapons loaded with explosives, without soldiers present,” challenging the occupation by saying, “We tell you, fight us with your soldiers. You (Netanyahu) and your soldiers will drown in Rafah’s sands.”
The fighter then began disarming the explosives-laden Israeli military vehicle, saying: “Their soldiers are too afraid to come to us. By God, we will drink from their blood.”
The video also revealed footage of several drones seized by Al-Qassam in Rafah.
Al-Qassam Shares a Mysterious Image Featuring Soldiers
In addition, Al-Qassam published a cryptic image hinting at an event involving Israeli soldiers in Rafah. The image showed three soldiers, remnants of military vehicle tracks, and explosive devices.
On their Telegram post, Al-Qassam wrote in English, “The Hunt… What’s Hidden is Greater.”
Yesterday, Friday, Al-Qassam announced that their fighters had targeted an Israeli force fortified inside a house east of Al-Tannur neighborhood in Rafah with anti-fortification and anti-personnel shells, causing deaths and injuries.
Al-Qassam also reported targeting a “Merkava” tank and a military bulldozer with Yasin 105 shells in the eastern part of Al-Tannur neighborhood, Rafah.
It is worth noting that Al-Tannur, located east of Rafah, was one of the first areas entered by the Israeli occupation forces at the start of the ground offensive in May.
These messages and footage from Al-Qassam come just days after the Israeli occupation claimed to have eliminated the Rafah Brigade of Hamas.
