Hezbollah released video footage capturing moments when its fighters intercepted an infiltration attempt by Israeli occupation forces in the eastern sector along the southern Lebanese border with the occupied Palestinian territories.
The footage, released as part of the party’s broader escalation of missile operations against the occupation, shows fighters planting explosives along potential paths of advance before detecting the Israeli force through thermal imaging.
The video also includes scenes of Hezbollah fighters targeting Israeli military helicopters as they flew over the region.
In a related development, Hezbollah released another video simulation depicting its fighters neutralizing an Israeli military unit in a southern Lebanese village. The video was accompanied by the phrase, “Do not think if you will be hit… think about when you will be hit.”
This escalation occurs as Hezbollah fighters continue to resist Israeli ground incursions into southern Lebanon through direct engagements and ambushes, resulting in casualties among the Israeli occupation forces.
Earlier on Thursday, Hezbollah revealed that it had targeted an Israeli military unit with a missile salvo during their fourth attempt to evacuate the casualties from a targeted vehicle in the Ras al-Naqoura area.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation continues to conduct intense airstrikes on various parts of Lebanese territory, including the capital, Beirut. On Thursday, a severe airstrike targeted the city, resulting in the martyrdom of 22 people and injuries to 117 others.
Local sources reported that two airstrikes hit the Ras al-Naba’ and Basta neighborhoods in central Beirut, with Israeli media claiming that a Hezbollah coordination operative was the target.
However, a senior Hezbollah source told Al-Mayadeen that the assassination attempt against Wafiq Safa, the head of Hezbollah’s coordination and liaison unit, had failed.
Since September 23, the Israeli occupation has launched intense and unprecedented airstrikes on multiple areas across Lebanon, resulting in thousands of martyrs and injured civilians. Additionally, more than 1.2 million people have been displaced, according to official data.
In response, Hezbollah has continued its operations against the Israeli occupation, expanding its targets as a counter to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Lebanon since the significant escalation began around two weeks ago.
