The Israeli occupation army has reported that the soldier who blew the “horn” in southern Lebanon has been critically injured, sustaining three gunshot wounds to his lungs during the ongoing battles in the region.
The Israeli occupation army described the soldier’s injuries as severe.
In its official statement, the Israeli army also reported that 40 rockets were launched from Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee, with some intercepted, while others landed in open areas.
On the other side, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted “a gathering of enemy soldiers around the Remeem site” with rockets, as well as another group of soldiers near the Al-Marj site.
Furthermore, Hezbollah confirmed that they had hit an Israeli infantry force attempting to infiltrate from the Ramiyah site with a guided missile, stating that they inflicted both deaths and injuries among the enemy soldiers.
In parallel, the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the “martyrdom of 11 individuals and the injury of 19 others following two Israeli airstrikes on Al-Muaisra in Mount Lebanon and Deir Bella in the north of the country.”
Israeli airstrikes have also targeted the vicinity of the towns of Shaqra, Jbin, Hanin, Al-Dhahira, and Alma Al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation army declared a closed military zone in several settlements in the Western Galilee.
According to Israel’s Channel 7, based on the current security assessment, the army has decided to “close the area starting at 20:00 local time in the regions of Zar’it, Shomra, Shatula, Netu’a, and Avivim in the Upper and Western Galilee.”
The channel added that the army has announced a complete prohibition on entering these areas and stated that it will expand its ground maneuvers in southern Lebanon.
In another development, Israeli occupation authorities issued new evacuation orders for areas in southern Lebanon.
A security source and a civil defense source told Reuters that at least five people were martyred and 15 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on three areas in Lebanon.
One of the targeted locations was in the town of Deir Bella in northern Lebanon, which had not been previously bombed.
In a separate statement, the Israeli army confirmed that Hezbollah had launched approximately 320 projectiles from Lebanon toward Israel on Saturday, but did not provide further details.
The Israeli army has also ordered the evacuation of residents from 23 villages in southern Lebanon to areas north of the Al-Ouali River, which flows from the Bekaa Valley westward to the Mediterranean Sea.
The military order, issued through an official statement, includes villages in southern Lebanon that have recently been targets of Israeli attacks, many of which are already almost deserted.
The Israeli army claims that these evacuations are necessary for the safety of the residents due to the increasing operations by Hezbollah, alleging that the group is using these locations to hide weapons and launch attacks on northern occupied territories.
Since September 23rd, the Israeli occupation has been carrying out intense and unprecedented airstrikes on various locations across Lebanon, resulting in thousands of casualties between martyrs and wounded, as well as the displacement of more than 1.2 million people, according to official data.
