The Al-Qassam Brigades have released footage showing the targeting and destruction of an enemy troop carrier east of Jabaliya, utilizing a Yasin 105 missile.
The footage reveals a Qassam fighter emerging from a tunnel into an open area and crawling through thorns to reach a position where he launches an attack on a Shizaret-type troop carrier. Sounds of enemy soldiers, who were nearby, can be heard in the vicinity.
The fighter successfully scored a direct hit on the troop carrier, causing the missile to explode inside, and then safely withdrew from the location.
Previously, the Al-Qassam Brigades had broadcast scenes of a Humvee, belonging to the enemy, being struck in the same area, directly after the fighters exited one of the tunnels.
The resistance continues to deliver painful blows to the enemy in Jabaliya, since the onset of the brutal aggression on the area a month ago, which has included mass slaughters, displacement operations, arrests of residents, and the complete destruction of residential blocks.
Meanwhile, the enemy army announced last Friday the death of a brigade commander from the “Givati” division, succumbing to injuries sustained south of the Gaza Strip in September.
The enemy’s army radio reported last Friday that Captain Yordan Zakai, a commander in the Givati brigade, died from severe wounds incurred on September 17, during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip, without specifying the location.
The enemy’s army website notes that Captain Yordan Zakai was 21 years old, hailing from Hadera in northern Israel, and his family has been notified.
According to data from the enemy’s army, the death toll among soldiers since the war began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 778, including 367 in ground battles that commenced on October 27 within the Gaza Strip.
This count does not include the civilians, police officers, and members of the “Shin Bet” security agency who have been killed since the start of the war.
In related news, the enemy’s army radio reported last Friday that “87 Israelis were killed during the past month of October, including 64 soldiers and security personnel a and 23 civilians across various fronts, from the Gaza Strip in the south to Lebanon in the north.”
