The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released new footage capturing confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in areas of incursion around the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The footage, unveiled by Al-Qassam on Wednesday without specifying the date of recording, shows an Israeli force fortified inside a house near Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in central Jabalia. Al-Qassam fighters are then seen preparing to target the fortified unit.
The video, titled “Death Traps,” showcases Israeli vehicles and the Al-Qassam fighters’ preparations to strike them with various explosive devices and projectiles.
In the footage, the Al-Qassam Brigades successfully detonated a side bomb targeting an Israeli Merkava tank near an area known as the Barawi Junction, followed by an assault on a repair crew using an anti-personnel Sijeel explosive.
The clip concludes with scenes of an armored personnel carrier being destroyed by a ground-placed Shawaz explosive device near the Barawi Junction as well.
On Tuesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that it had killed or injured 10 Israeli soldiers through an ambush in the Jabalia area, saying, “We detonated a house in the Qassasib neighborhood of Jabalia with a high-powered explosive device as 10 Israeli soldiers entered it on Monday afternoon.”
This announcement coincided with the Israeli occupation army’s admission of four soldier fatalities during battles in Jabalia, though it is not immediately clear if they were among those targeted by the Al-Qassam ambush.

In several separate statements, Al-Qassam reported targeting Israeli military vehicles and gatherings of soldiers along battlefronts in northern Gaza.
Since October 5, the Israeli army has launched a ground invasion into northern Gaza, claiming it aims to “prevent Hamas from regaining strength in the region.”
However, Palestinians argue that “Israel” intends to occupy northern Gaza and transform it into a buffer zone after forcibly displacing its residents through relentless bombing and an intensified siege that restricts the entry of food, water, and medical supplies.
Backed by the United States, “Israel” has, since October 7, 2023, been carrying out what many describe as a genocide in Gaza. The attacks have led to over 146,000 Palestinian casualties, mostly women and children, with more than 10,000 people reported missing amid massive destruction and widespread famine that has claimed the lives of numerous children and elderly individuals, marking one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
“Israel” continues its massacres, ignoring UN Security Council resolutions to halt its actions immediately, as well as orders from the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
