The Al-Qassam Brigades have released footage of their confrontations with Israeli forces advancing into the Jabalia area in northern Gaza, causing significant losses among soldiers and military vehicles.
The footage shows a Merkava tank being struck directly by a Yassin rocket-propelled grenade, resulting in a massive fire and thick plumes of smoke rising from the area.
The video also captures Al-Qassam fighters inside an operational room, planning an ambush against the Israeli forces. They had discovered a house being used as a command center for Israeli forces in the Safatwi and Jabalia sectors. Using surveillance screens and cameras, the fighters monitored the soldiers’ movements before executing their attack.
One fighter is seen targeting a fortified position where Israeli soldiers were sheltering. Using a Yassin anti-fortification grenade, he successfully hit the location, causing an internal explosion.
Additionally, Al-Qassam fighters gained control of several Israeli drones, extracted data from them, and showcased parts of this information. The footage clearly reveals Israeli soldiers stationed near Gaza, as well as military gathering points, equipment, weapons, and details of the military unit operating the drones.
Meanwhile, Hebrew media reported a severe incident involving Israeli forces in Gaza, where two tanks were destroyed using explosive devices.
The Hebrew account “Lebanon Sheeth” detailed that one of the tanks overturned due to a highly explosive device.
Hebrew social media accounts also shared footage of a helicopter airlifting injured soldiers from Gaza to a hospital in occupied territories, confirming that the casualties were transported from the Gaza frontlines.
