Abu Ubaida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades—the military wing of Hamas—stated that the Israeli occupation forces will be driven out of northern Gaza without achieving their objectives.
He emphasized that the resistance continues to inflict heavy losses on the occupation, revealing that 10 soldiers were killed and dozens injured in the last 72 hours alone.
In posts on his Telegram account, Abu Ubaida noted that, “Even after more than 100 days of a total destruction and genocide campaign by the enemy army in northern Gaza, our fighters continue to inflict severe losses, delivering punishing blows. In the past 72 hours alone, this has resulted in over 10 soldiers killed and dozens more wounded.”
He added, “We affirm that the losses among the occupation’s failing army are far higher than what it publicly admits. The enemy will eventually be forced to withdraw from northern Gaza, humiliated and dragging its defeat behind it, without managing to break the will of the resistance. Its only real achievement is the devastation, destruction, and massacres it has carried out against innocent civilians.”
In recent days, the resistance has undertaken daring operations in northern Gaza, and the Israeli occupation has acknowledged multiple casualties there.
On Monday, Channel 13’s military correspondent, Almog Boker, provided dramatic details—based on testimonies from occupation soldiers—about how the resistance in Beit Hanoun (northern Gaza) had prepared to ambush Israeli troops, despite the near-total destruction of the area through bombing and demolitions.
Boker noted that soldiers reported fighting in an environment under camera surveillance by the resistance fighters. They said the resistance planted explosive devices in every alleyway, detonating them remotely from tunnels, part of an extensive underground network that remains fully operational.
Also on Monday, occupation forces in northern Gaza fell into a resistance ambush that led to the deaths of several soldiers.
Hebrew media outlets reported an initial toll of three dead and ten wounded after a building collapsed on soldiers from the “Nahal” Brigade in northern Gaza. Military helicopters were reportedly dispatched to evacuate casualties from the site of the attack.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation army announced that four of its soldiers were killed by an explosive device in a Beit Hanoun ambush in northern Gaza. Several others were injured, two of them critically.
