Social media platforms witnessed significant interaction with the video released by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), following the completion of the second phase of the prisoner exchange deal during the first stage of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Sunna Files Website highlighted prominent comments and tweets on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where users reacted to the Israeli female soldiers expressing gratitude to Al-Qassam fighters. The praise focused on their good treatment and affirmed that this behavior reflects the true ethics of Muslims.
Another activist referred to the “awe-inspiring scenes” of the handover of the female captives, who thanked Al-Qassam in Arabic.
The Handover of Captives
The Al-Qassam Brigades released footage of the second phase of the prisoner exchange operation in Gaza, as part of the first stage of the “Flood of Freedom” prisoner swap deal.
In the video, four Israeli female soldiers could be seen speaking Arabic and thanking Al-Qassam fighters for their kind treatment and protection from Israeli airstrikes.
The footage also featured members of Al-Qassam holding a military parade in the streets of Gaza during the handover of the captives to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Earlier today, in the presence of fighters from Al-Qassam and Saraya Al-Quds, Al-Qassam Brigades handed over four female Israeli soldiers to Red Cross teams in the central square of Gaza City. The event was witnessed by large crowds of Palestinians who gathered at the handover site.
The four female captives appeared in Israeli military uniforms on the handover platform set up at the location before being transferred to the Red Cross.
Israel Releases Palestinian Prisoners
In exchange, the Israeli occupation forces released 200 Palestinian prisoners, many of whom were serving life sentences or long-term sentences. This was part of the second phase of the prisoner exchange agreement between the resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation forces.
