The Washington Post recently published a jaw-dropping report dissecting former U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest delusion: expelling all Palestinians from Gaza permanently and putting the territory under American control. If this sounds like an imperial fever dream, that’s because it is.
Trump, known for his off-the-cuff absurdities, took things to a whole new level during his latest White House sit-down with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. With his signature lack of diplomacy, he casually declared:
“All of them… I mean, we’re talking about maybe 1.7 million people, maybe 1.8 million. But I think all of them. I think they’ll be relocated to places where they can live beautiful lives without worrying about dying every day.”
That’s right. Trump believes he’s doing the Palestinian people a favor by forcibly removing them from their homes. How thoughtful.
Trump’s Empire Never Sleeps: ‘We Will Own Gaza’
According to the Washington Post, Trump’s vision for post-Palestinian Gaza became even clearer in a later press conference with Netanyahu. With all the grace of a real estate developer eyeing a prime beachfront property, Trump made it official:
“The United States will take control of Gaza… We will own it.”
This left NBC News reporter Kelly O’Donnell visibly stunned. “You’re talking about the United States seizing sovereign land. What justification do you have for that? Are you discussing permanent occupation?” she asked.
Trump’s response?
“I see a long-term ownership position.”
That’s right. Gaza, a strip of land with zero connection to the United States, is now up for grabs, apparently. Because why stop at Greenland?
The Final Nail in the Coffin: Palestine Will Cease to Exist
As the Washington Post put it bluntly, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will cease to exist.”
Even Netanyahu, who has spent decades pushing for Palestinian land grabs, was taken aback by Trump’s audacity. But he wasn’t complaining.
“Trump is taking it to a much higher level,” Netanyahu said, beaming. “I think this is something that can change history, and it’s truly worth pursuing.”
Of course, Netanyahu didn’t miss the opportunity to bash President Joe Biden, thanking Trump for sending weapons Biden had previously withheld and lifting sanctions on violent Israeli settlers.
Trump’s ‘Humanitarian’ Plan: Create Millions of New Refugees
While the world struggles to find a lasting solution for existing Palestinian refugees—1.5 million of whom already live in camps across the region—Trump has an even better idea:
“Let’s add 2 million more refugees. Maybe 5 million. Why not? Who’s counting?”
The report highlights the absurdity of Trump’s plan to simply “relocate” Palestinians to other countries, as if Egypt and Jordan have been sitting around waiting for an influx of millions of displaced people.
When told that both Jordan and Egypt had flatly rejected the idea, Trump, in peak delusional fashion, dismissed their refusal:
“They say they won’t take them. And I say—they will.”
Classic Trump logic.
And the Award for Most Outrageous Statement Goes To…
Just when you thought this couldn’t get any more ridiculous, Trump also demanded a Nobel Prize.
Yes, in the same press conference where he openly discussed destabilizing entire governments and forcibly removing millions from their homeland, he complained that Norway refuses to recognize his ‘greatness’ with a peace prize.
“They won’t give me a Nobel Peace Prize, and that’s a shame, because I deserve it.”
That’s right. Trump thinks expelling an entire population equals world peace.
The Final Insult: Welcome to Trump’s Mediterranean Playground
For Palestinians, Trump’s plan means mass displacement, instability, and statelessness.
For the United States? “Luxury beachfront property.”
Trump gushed:
“I don’t want to be nice. I don’t want to be a wise guy. But the Riviera of the Middle East—it could be… very beautiful.”
So, who exactly will live in the land formerly known as Palestine?
“The people of the world,” Trump declared, as if Gaza were a brand-new theme park waiting to open.
Because in Trump’s world, everything is just another business deal—including the complete erasure of an entire people.
