Arab diplomatic sources have revealed details of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) conspiracy within the Arab League to push forward former U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan, coordinated with Israel, to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
The sources disclosed that discussions surrounding the upcoming emergency Arab summit, set to take place in Cairo on February 27, indicate broad consensus on issuing a final statement that categorically rejects the displacement of Gaza’s residents. However, the UAE has caused a crisis by insisting on modifying the final wording.
An Arab diplomat stated that negotiations led by Egypt and Jordan in recent days resulted in a broad agreement on several key principles to be included in the summit’s final statement. Chief among these is a firm rejection of any displacement of Palestinians—whether in Gaza or the West Bank—from their lands.
The diplomat added that the UAE insisted on modifying the text, demanding the addition of the word “forced” before “displacement” to restrict its opposition solely to cases of compulsory expulsion, thus leaving room for alternative forms of population transfer.
Egypt Hosts Emergency Summit
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry recently announced that Cairo will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27 to address the grave developments concerning the Palestinian cause.
Just days ago, diplomatic sources revealed the UAE’s support for Trump’s ethnic cleansing plan, which aims to remove Palestinians from Gaza in the hopes of eradicating the Palestinian resistance completely.
According to sources speaking to “Emirates Leaks,” the UAE regime has conveyed identical verbal messages to high-ranking officials in Trump’s administration, expressing Abu Dhabi’s support for his plan and its willingness to facilitate its implementation—including financial backing.
The UAE’s Role in Population Transfer
The sources further revealed that the UAE has offered to take in a limited number of Gaza residents, particularly those affiliated with Mohammed Dahlan’s reformist faction, along with their families, as part of Trump’s plan.
According to the sources, Abu Dhabi believes that the only way to dismantle Palestinian resistance completely is by forcibly depopulating the Gaza Strip, thereby eliminating all resistance fighters and permanently ending the crisis fueled by ongoing tensions in the region.
The UAE views Trump’s proposed “control” over Gaza and the mass exodus of its Palestinian residents as a short-term cause of unrest but a long-term “solution”—even if it involves severe escalations of forced displacement and ethnic cleansing.
However, Abu Dhabi conveniently ignores that international humanitarian law prohibits the permanent forced displacement of occupied populations, classifying it as a war crime when executed with criminal intent. Furthermore, if such displacement is carried out as part of a widespread or systematic attack against civilian populations reflecting state policy, it constitutes a crime against humanity.
Destruction in Gaza: A Tool for Israeli Policy
The UAE leadership believes that the extensive destruction in Gaza—resulting from Israeli military actions—has rendered large parts of the Strip uninhabitable. They argue that rebuilding with Gulf funding would be “futile” as long as Hamas and other resistance factions remain active, fearing renewed conflicts with Israel.
Trump has proposed large-scale displacement of Palestinians and direct U.S. control over Gaza as a possible policy. He made these remarks while standing beside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose government bears responsibility for this policy and maintains strong ties with the UAE.
Israel’s Intentional Displacement of Palestinians
Since October 2023, Israeli authorities have deliberately engaged in mass forced displacement of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, in some cases multiple times. High-ranking Israeli officials have openly declared their intent to expel Gaza’s population permanently.
Israeli authorities have systematically engineered conditions to break Palestinian society by depriving residents of essential needs, including food and water—actions that amount to crimes against humanity and genocide.
Trump’s remarks on Gaza have faced widespread rejection, not only from neighboring states like Egypt and Jordan but also from countries such as Germany, Australia, Ireland, the UK, Brazil, China, and Russia, as well as the United Nations Human Rights Commission.
UAE-Israel Collusion to Suppress Resistance
Israeli media previously exposed the UAE’s secret coordination with Israel to suppress Palestinian resistance in Gaza post-war by imposing new governance arrangements once hostilities cease.
Reports from “Israel Hayom” reveal that Abu Dhabi has tentatively agreed to assume responsibility for Gaza’s administration post-conflict, aiming to reconstruct the region while neutralizing any threats to Israel.
Diplomatic sources have also detailed the UAE’s covert involvement with Israel in crafting a “Day After” plan for Gaza, aimed at dismantling the resistance. The plan allegedly includes deploying mercenaries to Gaza and granting Israel overarching authority over the territory while systematically sidelining Hamas and other resistance factions in the long run.
