Israeli companies have announced their participation in the International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2025” in the UAE, solidifying the disgrace of normalization and the alliance between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, despite the ongoing Israeli massacres in Palestine and Lebanon.
Leading the Israeli companies participating in IDEX—held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) until February 21—is Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), one of the world’s top 100 arms manufacturers in 2023, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
The chairman of IAI openly admitted that their products were used in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. He also expressed his appreciation to UAE authorities for allowing them to participate in the exhibition and promote their military products.
Meanwhile, Israeli company RT LTA Systems unveiled a new cellular communication system integrated into its tactical SkyStar 330 aerostat during the exhibition.
The aerostat carries communication equipment up to a height of 500 meters and can be deployed and operational within just one hour of arrival at a site. The system relies on a fiber-optic tether connected to the ground, ensuring a stable power supply and continuous data transmission.
The 17th edition of IDEX, organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Defense, attracts the world’s largest defense companies, decision-makers, and experts in the defense industry. According to the event organizers, the exhibition showcases the latest global technologies and solutions in defense industries aimed at maintaining international peace and security.
Additionally, Israeli company Heven Drones, specializing in unmanned aerial systems powered by hydrogen propulsion, announced the launch of its new “Raider” drone during the exhibition.
The “Raider” drone is notable for its long endurance, boasting an operational time exceeding 10 hours using hydrogen propulsion and a payload capacity of up to 23 kilograms.
Benjamin Levinson, founder and CEO of Heven Drones, stated that launching the “Raider” drone aligns with the company’s vision to enhance operational capabilities for a wide range of missions, including reconnaissance, tactical operations, and logistical support.
Levinson acknowledged the sensitive geopolitical context, saying, “What we’ve heard from our counterparts in the UAE and other countries is that the most important factor is security… Israel, the United States, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the entire region share a common goal of defeating terrorism, and for that, we must have the best technology.”
This year’s exhibition has witnessed an increase in participating companies, reaching 1,565 companies from 65 countries, marking a 16% growth compared to the previous edition. The total exhibition space has also expanded by 10% from the last event, now covering 181,501 square meters.
Furthermore, over 731 new companies are participating this year—an 82% increase from the previous edition. The event also features 41 national pavilions, while the number of UAE-based companies has reached 213, making up 16% of total exhibitors, compared to 84% international participation.
