The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, released footage on Sunday evening showing their fighters targeting Israeli military vehicles near the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The video shows resistance fighters emerging from a tunnel shaft and striking an Israeli D9 bulldozer with an explosive projectile, igniting flames upon impact. Shortly after, they launched a guided missile at an Israeli tank, resulting in thick smoke rising from the vehicle.
One of the most striking scenes captured a Qassam fighter carrying an RPG across his shoulder, moving through the rubble of a destroyed home before firing at a third military vehicle.
Earlier, Al-Qassam detailed a sophisticated ambush conducted on Saturday in the eastern sector of Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza.
In a brief statement, the Brigades said:“Our fighters executed the ‘Break the Sword’ ambush east of Beit Hanoun. During the operation, they targeted a ‘Storm’ military jeep belonging to the elite Combat Intelligence Collection unit with an anti-armor projectile, scoring direct hits.”
They added:“As a support force rushed in to rescue the targeted unit, it was struck with a ‘TV-3’ anti-personnel device, leaving casualties among the reinforcements. Our fighters then shelled a newly established enemy position with four RPGs and pounded it with mortar fire.”
