Diplomatic sources have revealed that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is actively working to support the campaign of forced displacement against the people of Gaza, pushing for ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and is utilising Egypt as a diplomatic front to implement this agenda.
According to the sources, the UAE is orchestrating a coordinated campaign to impose U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for the displacement of Gaza’s residents through the Arab League, despite public Arab stances that outwardly reject forced expulsion and the uprooting of Palestinians from their homeland.
The sources disclosed that Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aaty has emerged as the face of a dangerous new diplomatic campaign, backed by the UAE, aimed at imposing Trump’s blueprint for ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
Abdel Aaty’s tour of Arab capitals — including Algiers and Tunis — is reportedly conducted under direct Emirati pressure, seeking to use Cairo to grant a facade of legitimacy to the plan to displace Gaza’s population and establish a “Riviera” over the ruins of the besieged and devastated territory.
The UAE is applying financial and political pressure on Egypt, leveraging Cairo as a proxy to carry Trump’s message: “Push Arab states to endorse our plan for Gaza — or face the consequences,” the sources said.
The Plan: Disarming Gaza, Installing a Puppet Authority
Sources confirmed that the conspiracy aims to dismantle Palestinian resistance in Gaza, impose the Palestinian Authority as a puppet regime under Emirati-Israeli supervision, and enforce a reconstruction plan that normalises relations with Israel while erasing Palestinian rights.
The UAE’s manoeuvres violate the very foundations of the Arab League, which historically stood for Palestinian rights — including the right of return — rejected normalisation without a just solution, and supported resistance under occupation.
Badr Abdel Aaty’s mission, fuelled by UAE directives, seeks to dismantle decades of collective Arab consensus and align regional diplomacy with the U.S.-Israeli project for Gaza’s forced displacement.
According to the sources, the UAE’s campaign represents a brazen violation of international law — including United Nations resolutions affirming Palestinian self-determination, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and the International Court of Justice’s principles prohibiting the forced transfer of civilian populations under occupation.
UAE’s Role: Breaking Arab Solidarity
Previously, the French newspaper Le Monde highlighted how the UAE has deliberately worked to fracture the unified Arab front opposing Trump’s plan to forcibly expel two million Palestinians from Gaza.
Al Otaiba stated that he saw “no alternative” to the Trump administration’s plan to displace Gaza’s population. Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai, he said:
“I really don’t see an alternative. If anyone has one, we are happy to hear it and explore it — but no viable alternative has yet surfaced.”
He added that Abu Dhabi would “try” to find common ground with the Trump administration’s strategy, acknowledging that the path ahead would be difficult, but signalling clear readiness to accommodate Washington’s designs.
