An Israeli Rabbi calls for the extermination of all Gaza residents “under Jewish Religion law”

The head of the Torah religious institute “Yeshivat Shirat Moshe” in Jaffa, Rabbi Eliyahu Mali, called on his students serving in the Israeli occupation army to exterminate all the inhabitants of Gaza “according to Jewish law.”

Mali, as reported by Palestinian media outlets, stated that the war Israel is waging on Gaza is a “religious war.” He added, “The fundamental law in a religious war, and in this case in Gaza, is ‘leave no one alive‘ (Deuteronomy in the Torah). If you don’t kill them? They will kill you. The troublemakers today are the children from the previous military operation, who were spared. And the women are practically the ones producing the troublemakers.”

An Israeli Rabbi Calls for Palestinian Annihilation Mali further added in his provocative statements: “It’s either you or them. No soul survives that relies on ‘kill him before he kills you’ (Babylonian Talmud). And this doesn’t just apply to the boy aged 14 or 16, or the man aged 20 or 30 who raises a weapon against you, but also to the future generation. And likewise, it applies to those who produce the future generation. Because in truth, there is no difference.”

The Israeli Rabbi Mali claimed in response to a question about killing the elderly in Gaza that “there is a difference between civilian populations elsewhere and civilian populations in Gaza. In Gaza, according to estimates, 95-98% want to annihilate us.”

This Rabbi said at the beginning of his speech “because this is a sensitive issue, and I’ve been informed that it will be published on the internet, I want to clarify and say that the conclusion is that only what is stated in the Israeli army’s regulations should be implemented.”

These inciting statements come amid a war launched by the Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023, leaving tens of thousands of civilian casualties, mostly children and women, as well as an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction, leading Tel Aviv to face the International Court of Justice on charges of “genocide.”
