The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Friday the targeting of an Israeli troop carrier with an Al-Yasin 105 charge, in the al-Amal neighborhood in western Khan Younis.
The Brigades also affirmed the targeting of an Israeli Merkava tank with the al-Yassin 105, burning it, in Jourat al-Aqqad to the west of Khan Younis.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reported that as a result of Resistance’s defensive operations, the Israeli occupation forces withdrew their vehicles from the al-Aqsa University and Al-Amal and Al-Kheir hospitals’ vicinities in Khan Younis. The IOF also withdrew from the al-Atatra and al-Soudaniya areas in western Gaza, toward “Zikim”.
However, our correspondent confirmed that the IOF are still besieging Tal al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlain, relentlessly bombing them, particularly residential compounds. The IOF also detonated a residential square in the town of Qaizan al-Najjar in southern Khan Younis.
More withdrawals, more losses
On Thursday, Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the IOF withdrew from areas such as al-Zawaida, al-Nuseirat, al-Karama, al-Tawam, and the Communication Towers, located northwest of the northern Gaza Strip. This marks the first time the Israeli occupation forces have withdrawn from areas in central Gaza, including al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps.
Additionally, Israeli occupation forces withdrew from al-Rashid Street in the western part of the Gaza Strip, as well as from Beit Lahia, Jabalia, and Beit Hanoun in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
He further continued by explaining that “Israeli tanks retreated from the northern and northwestern confrontation axes of the Gaza Strip,” adding that Palestinians were starting to return to their homes in al-Sudaniyah and al-Saftawi areas following the Israeli withdrawal.
