They Distort the Prayer, Promote Perversion, and Support Israel: The Reality of ‘Liberal Islam’

In an age of identity confusion and ideological colonisation, a new campaign is underway—not from outside Islam, but falsely in its name. Marketed as “Liberal Islam,” this project is not about renewal or understanding. It is a calculated attempt to deconstruct the Islamic creed from within: a pseudo-religious platform that permits what Allah forbade, cancels divine commands, and promotes moral collapse under the banners of “freedom” and “progress.”

This is not a theological debate. It is a coordinated war on the soul of Islam, carried out through so-called mosques that have nothing to do with faith—and everything to do with secularisation.

When a Mosque Is Not a Mosque

In 2017, Berlin witnessed the inauguration of what was called a “liberal mosque.” Prayers were held in a church. Men and women stood side by side. Women led the prayer without hijab. No madhhab, no ijma’, no fiqh—only confusion.

The figures behind these initiatives are not ‘ulama. They are not students of knowledge. They are political activists, many with clear ties to LGBTQ+ movements, Zionist lobbying circles, and outspoken critics of Palestinian resistance and Islamic values.

They do not seek to reform Islam—they aim to replace it.

They promote secular liberalism dressed in Islamic symbols, turning masjids into platforms of moral inversion, and turning the Shari‘ah into a menu of personal preference. Some openly oppose traditional Islamic rulings on modesty, marriage, gender roles, and jihad — while defending Israel and attacking Muslim solidarity.

Let us be absolutely clear: their battle is not against extremism. It is against Islam itself — its creed, its moral code, its resistance to the empire of desire.

The goal is not spiritual growth. It is ideological sabotage. A Trojan horse designed to neutralise the political, social, and moral power of Islam—particularly in Europe, where Muslim communities are growing, young, and vibrant.

This “Liberal Islam” normalises moral relativism, invalidates the authority of Qur’an and Sunnah, mocks hijab and gender roles, and whitewashes occupation by defending Israel and vilifying Palestine.

Their vision of Islam is one that cannot resist injustice, cannot stand for truth, and cannot defend itself.

What We’re Witnessing Is Not Ijtihad — It’s Apostasy in Fancy Dress

Our mosques are not laboratories for ideological experimentation. Our creed is not up for referendum. Our Shari‘ah is not a rough draft. Islam is not “fluid.”

Those who erase the prayer, replace the Qur’an with identity politics, and sanctify what Allah has prohibited are not offering a new Islam — they are offering no Islam at all.

And history will record: while the Ummah was bleeding in Gaza and starving in Sudan, others were promoting mixed-gender, hijab-free Friday prayers in church halls — for the cameras, not for the Creator.
