Saudi Arabia sends 140 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

At the same time that the people of Gaza are dying of hunger and thirst, and the occupation army is besieging hospitals, shelters, and all life facilities, the “Great Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” as its online bots call it, has chosen to extend its generosity and compassion, along with some of its wealth, to the poor Ukrainian people.

In the details of the news, the fourth Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, arrived at Zosov Airport in Poland, near the Ukrainian border, on Thursday, preparing to enter Ukraine through the Polish border, as part of the Kingdom’s assistance to the Ukrainian people.

The fourth and fifth relief planes departed this morning from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, loaded with more than 140 tons of relief materials, including generators, electrical appliances, and baby milk formula.

Saudi Arabia‘s package of aid to Ukraine comes within the framework of its historical role in standing with the needy and affected people around the world (excluding Arabs and Muslims) in various crises and hardships they are going through.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia, which is unable to provide a small bottle of water to an Arab Muslim child in Gaza, signed an agreement and memorandum of understanding last year to provide an additional humanitarian aid package to Ukraine worth $400 million. It has also previously provided urgent medical and shelter assistance worth $10 million to refugees from Ukraine to neighbouring countries, especially Poland, in coordination with the Polish government and United Nations organizations.
