Several diplomatic sources revealed the convening of a UAE-Israeli meeting in Brussels, Belgium, aimed at coordinating propaganda to incite against Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza, particularly post-Hamas era according to Israeli plans.
Sources informed “Sunna Files Website” that the meeting included six journalists presenting themselves as analysts and political researchers aligned with the UAE, involved directly and indirectly in Abu Dhabi-funded media programs and activities.
Among the attendees were former Palestinian Authority minister Ibrahim Abrash, Palestinian journalist Ramadan Abu Jazar known for his UAE-backed incitement activities, Palestinian activist supporting normalization Bassam Eid, and Saudi intelligence-affiliated media figure Abdulaziz Al-Khamis, known for promoting normalization under UAE directives.
The meeting also involved Israeli officials and journalists, led by Ofer Gendelman, spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office for Arabic media.
Sources indicated the meeting focused on coordinating UAE-Israeli efforts to escalate incitement and defamation against Palestinian resistance factions, including strategies amidst the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza for the past ten months.
Israel is reportedly coordinating with the UAE on post-Hamas era propaganda plans and increasing media pressure on Hamas by promoting Israeli-backed figures inside and outside Gaza.
The meeting follows public and secret visits by UAE officials to Israel last month to discuss media strategies and propaganda plans. This coincides with heightened UAE electronic flies activities, creating numerous fake accounts on social media to comment on developments in the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.
Monitoring UAE electronic flies reveals three main objectives: demonizing Palestinian resistance, supporting Israel, and promoting Abu Dhabi’s alleged humanitarian role in Gaza.
UAE electronic flies intensified incitement campaigns against factions and Palestinian resistance by assuming false Palestinian identities, spreading discord, and inflaming local public opinion against the resistance.
UAE suspicious activities from incitement against resistance include accusations of Gaza’s destruction and service only to senior officials, along with allegations of stealing humanitarian aid.
In contrast, UAE electronic flies diminish Palestinian resistance operations and resilience against Israeli massacres, bombardments, and destruction.
Besides supporting Israel and its army in daily massacres against Gaza residents, UAE electronic flies strongly promote UAE aid and whitewash its image tainted by normalization disgrace.
Months ago, and still now, UAE media and political dubious tools are used to demonize Palestinian resistance while the popular outrage in the state continues for Abu Dhabi’s commitment to normalization with Israel.
The Abu Dhabi Committee Chair for Defense, Internal, and Foreign Affairs Rashid Al-Nuaimi launches a severe attack on Palestinian resistance, especially Hamas, asserting that “Israel must remain.”
The Nuaimi took part in a special online press conference organized by the European Jewish Association (EJA) and the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and gave controversial statements against Palestinian resistance.
Nuaimi claimed that normalization agreements are safe in the middle of Israel’s bloody war on Gaza, arguing that “agreements (of normalization) are our future. They are not agreements between governments, but a platform we believe should change the region.”
He added that everyone should “recognize and accept that Israel is here to stay, and the roots of Jews and Christians are not in New York or Paris but here in our region,” claiming “they are part of our history and must be part of our future.”
Nuaimi, close to decision-makers in Abu Dhabi, alleged that the UAE wants to change the educational and religious narrative.
This isn’t the first time Nuaimi has spoken about changing the educational system to align with normalization with the Israeli occupation. He proposed in January 2021, four months after signing the normalization agreement, to change the curriculum to end what he called “Islamic extremism.”
At that time, he said, “Education represents the first line of defense against any threat, in a region still suffering from extremist ideology.”
Commenting on protests against Israel’s war on Gaza, Nuaimi said, “We need those who believe in peace in Europe, the United States, and everywhere to confront the hatred speech we see in protests in Paris and London.”
Regarding the Al-Aqsa Flood operation launched by Palestinian resistance on October 7, Nuaimi said, “It is very important to understand that there are enemies to what we are doing. These terrorist organizations do not respect human life, and they cannot achieve their goals.”
He added, “No one with a humane feeling and sound conscience will agree with the barbaric terrorist attack committed by Hamas on October 7: no one,” claiming that “enemies” exploited the war and that there was a difference between Hamas and the Palestinian people.
Nuaimi is one of Abu Dhabi’s arms for attacking Islam and inciting against Muslims in Europe, heading the “Hedayah” center against extremism, led by a number of European extremists supporting the expulsion of Muslims from Europe.
This comes as the UAE’s Emirati Resistance League condemned Abu Dhabi’s continued reception of Israelis despite the ongoing war on Gaza for eight months, commenting on the Maldives’ decision to ban Israelis from entering its territories.
The league said in a note on its “X” account platform that “the Maldives prevents Zionists from entering, and the UAE government still welcomes them and their leaders after more than 230 days of war on our brothers in Gaza.”
Last Sunday, the Maldives government decided to ban Israelis from entering the country, amidst popular anger in the Muslim-majority state over Israel’s war on Gaza.
The Associated Press quoted the office of Maldives President Mohamed Moez as saying – in a statement – that the cabinet decided to change the laws to prevent holders of Israeli travel documents from entering the country and to establish a subcommittee to supervise the process.
The statement added that President Moez would appoint a special envoy to assess Palestinian needs and launch a fundraising campaign titled “Maldives stands with Palestine.”
The UAE signed an open normalization agreement with Israel in September 2020, followed by dozens of cooperation agreements in several fields, leading to a comprehensive trade agreement, making it the first Arab country to sign such an agreement with Tel Aviv.
Abu Dhabi has not taken any diplomatic action in response to Israeli crimes in Gaza, except for condemnation statements, ignoring all Arab and Islamic demands to cut ties with Israel.
